How it works

  1. In “Text styles”, type your text and press copy on the style you like.
  2. In “Bio editor”, pick a template or write your own bio, then apply a style to the name, the first line or the whole bio.
  3. Check the profile preview and the approximate character count, then copy the result.
  4. On Instagram, open “Edit profile” and paste the text into the Name or Bio field yourself.

Examples

  • Good morning → 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (Bold)
  • Coffee & books → 𝒞ℴ𝒻𝒻ℯℯ & 𝒷ℴℴ𝓀𝓈 (Script)
  • new post → ɴᴇᴡ ᴘᴏsᴛ (Small Caps)

Name, bio and @username are different fields

Name: the bold name shown on your profile. You can paste styled characters here, but Instagram may not accept all of them.

Bio: your profile description. This is where text styles are used most, together with line breaks, emoji and symbols; it is limited to roughly 150 characters.

@username: only letters, numbers, periods and underscores are allowed. Styled letters, symbols and spaces cannot be used there.

This tool does not connect to your Instagram account or change your profile. Copy the text you create and paste it into the right field under “Edit profile” on Instagram yourself.

Accented letters and display differences

The tool does not install fonts; it swaps supported letters for lookalike Unicode characters. That is why the result can be pasted into the name and bio fields, where you cannot choose a font.

Unicode alphabets such as bold, italic and script mostly cover A–Z only. Letters like ç, ğ or é are not removed — they stay plain in the chosen style, and each card shows which letters stayed plain.

The final look and which characters are accepted depend on the device, operating system and Instagram version. Rare characters may show as boxes (□) on some devices, so check your profile after saving.

Write hashtags and key details such as phone numbers in plain letters; styled letters may be handled differently by search and screen readers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a custom font to my Instagram name or bio?

No. You cannot choose a font for the name or bio fields. These styles are Unicode characters, which is why they can be copied and pasted into those fields.

Can I use fancy text in my @username?

No. Usernames may only contain letters, numbers, periods and underscores. Use styled text in your name or bio instead.

Why do some letters stay plain?

These Unicode alphabets have no versions of letters like ç, ğ or é. Such letters are not replaced or removed — they stay as typed and are listed on the result card.

How long can a bio be?

Instagram bios are limited to roughly 150 characters. The counter here counts visible characters and is approximate; styled letters and emoji may be counted differently by Instagram. Your text is never cut, even over the limit — shorten it yourself if needed.

Is the preview exactly like Instagram?

No, it is an approximate profile preview. It mimics the profile layout and draws the text with this device’s system font; text, emoji and line layout may look different depending on your device and Instagram version.

What does “Add an empty line between lines” do?

Empty lines in a bio can disappear after pasting. This option puts a line containing an invisible character (a zero-width space) between your lines and reduces existing empty lines to a single gap. Whether the gap is kept can vary by app, so check after saving.

Does the tool connect to my Instagram account?

No. Your username, name, category and link are only used for the preview; your account is not accessed and your profile is not changed. Everything you type is processed in your browser and not stored.
